Frida and The Rose Garden

Dear Pussycats,

As I've mentioned before, it's about time I get a little culture in my life! So the other day, before all the foliage dies for winter and I slink into my own hibernation, I visited the New York Botanical Garden

Mark and I got giant iced coffees, hopped on the subway and in a little over an hour we were in the Bronx surrounded by gorgeous art and flora!

Not only did this place look like Versailles, but there was a Frida Kahlo exhibit going on... Could it have been any more lovely?!

My favorite by far part was the Rose Garden. Not only do I love the flowers themselves, but the garden was designed beautifully, and who doesn't love a gazebo?

The tour was gorgeous, the paintings were gorgeous and Mark and I had a lovely time together. I'm adding this to my list of things to do next summer, before its fall and all the flowers are gone.

Later that evening I met up with my darling friend Patrick. Patrick is the sweetest person of all time, and I had a great night with him walking down the highline and watching the sunset.

You know what? I kinda understand why everyone loves Fall so much. Fall is a beautiful season and while I still have one foot in each season, it's pretty magical.

I hope you have a lovely day and let me know what's your favorite way to spend a weekend day?

Keep it sassy,
