Dame Edna is My Queen

 Dear Pussycats,
How are things going? I told you I was back didn't I? Don't fret so much lil babies, all is well. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere at all *shhhhhh*!

Big updates that I have still yet to inform you on, I got a job working at Diane Von Furstenberg! Cute clothes, great co-workers, it aint too shabby. I'm also moving to South Brooklyn this week! OMG! I'll give you updates on my move-in progress, although it may not be too glamorous, but I guess this is what being a big girl is all about!

Now lets talk about something serious today, Queens. Queen's are our idols, our inspirations, and everything we aspire to be. Queen's are usually powerful women that are famous and whom we admire, but I think that the term "queen" does not necessarily have to fall within the gender binary. Queen's can be anyone and everyone who inspires you and whom you find yourself saying "I can't" about. My list of queen's is ridiculously long but here are my top 12 queens.
  1. Dolly Parton
  2. Janet Mock
  3. Britney Spears
  4. Lohanthony
  5. Dame Edna (I'm styling my outfit after her today ;)
  6. Beyonce
  7. Nicki Minaj
  8. Jenny Lewis
  9. Kesha
  10. Helen Gurley Brown
  11. Alanis Morisette
  12. Queen Liliuokalani (The only actual Queen on my list <3)
And honestly, that isn't even half of it. I find these women, these people, so inspirational. They inspire us to have fun with our wardrobe, be bold, be daring, be smart, be charming and most importantly be your damn self.

It's so funny how through the dawn of time, people always tell you to "be yourself," "BE YOURSELF," but it's our queens, our families, our experiences that make us who we are.

So flip your hair, take inspiration from the people who paved the way of fabulous for you and just embrace yourself, it's the best feeling ever. *nails emoji* *hairflip emoji* and *hands praying emoji* for Nicki Minaj's remix of Beyonce's "Flawless," praise my ultimate queens, my booty wont quit to this song...just sayin

Outfit Details: Top: Topshop / Skirt: American Apparel / Glasses: Opening Ceremony / Shoes: Charlotte Olympia
Well that about wraps it up babies.
I hope you have a great Tuesday, I will probably spend the rest of my day packing, doing homework and being an adult...ugh
Let me know in the comments down below who your queens are!?
Keep it Sassy,
