Now something a bit more personal
Here is my closet:
beneath mounds of clothing and magic, I have a secret collection

My TEEN VOGUE collection that starts from 2005.

This is my first issue that I could find December/January 2005 with Hilary Duff
It's crazy to think that 8 years from this issue that I'd still be reading Teen Vogue.
Teen Vogue has always and will always be my favorite magazine out there, it incapsulates what it means to be a fashionable teen girl in this modern world. But what I love most about Teen Vogue is the element of class, I've personally found that in other teen-girl type magazines, that the writers are either dumbing things down for the reader or writing to this reader who isn't capable of being a strong independent woman. What I mean is, the writers at Teen Vogue know that the modern young girl isn't this desperate, boy crazy hormonal mess, we are strong, smart, capable young ladies who doesn't need a dude!
They of course address men and boys and dating and what not but that is NEVER the focus of the articles and I absolutely love that.

Teen Vogue has been my bible that has gotten me through 7th grade up until now. It has allowed me to dream big and has provided me with not only inspiration but with this tangible dream that maybe one day I could work for them or with them or something. As much as I hate watching The Hills, I would just for all the glamorous parties and wonder soirees and all just dream to be there one day. And while I'm not there yet, Teen Vogue has chosen me to be one of their Fashion Click Bloggers and you honestly don't know what this means to me. Being involved in such a wonderful website affiliated with such an amazing magazine is really a dream come true.

Anywho so people it would mean the world if you checked out my posts over there
and all the other FABULOUS ladies posts

Anyway this is about the biggest honor my blog has EVER received so I'd just like to say THANK YOU Teen Vogue, for giving me this opportunity.
And I'm sure you are wondering what the inside of some of these vintage Teen Vogues look like so here are some posts I did awhile ago all about the february issues

Please check out my page their and <3 the post if you like it

I agree with you about how Teen Vogue stacks up against other teen magazines. That article about not stressing about college acceptances really struck a chord with me (I don't think it was the last issue maybe it was the one before it...?) but I wish they didn't feature the sons/daughters of celebrities as much as they do, and went back to featuring teen bloggers or people who would start charities (didn't that used to be a section?). The reason I started blogging in the first place was because I was inspired by Teen Vogue's articles about teen bloggers. I find it hard to relate to famous peoples' kids, even though the point of the magazine isn't to "relate" to it I guess, but I liked those other articles better.
