Dear Small Spirit.

Poems from Paisley:
Part 1

(I like the alliteration)
While my posts are usually orignal content from me, I have a special friend, whose poetry tickles my soul! Paisley and I have been friends for over a year and a half now and its safe to say that he is my best friend. He's magical and very talented and if you've been following my blog for awhile you may recognize him. He's been gifted with a knack for poetry, and this is one of my favorite poems. His work on tumblr (click here to check his out) has finally gotten some recognition that it deserves and one of his followers,12ee, (feel free to check out her blog too, she does some amazing arts click here) drew a glorious picture to accompany this poem.

Dear small spirit,

I cannot speak to you.
So rends my soul in two pieces.

You have flown
from my sphere,
your existence is mythical.
You are gold at the end of the rainbow.

Nessie, I wish to get lost
and locked
into your loch
lest I am found sunken.

Through pines
like window shades
I peer for a glimpse of Sasquatch walking
barefooted upon bristles
like jewels.

Touch my arm
one more time, sweet Midas.
That I might
once again feel rich.

Let me know what you think,
have a wonderful day
and please keep it sassy,

also enjoy this picture of the two of us looking kawaii desu.
