A Sassy Girl's Survival Guide: Stress

So I know you are all thinking "wow Sasssquatch, you blog, you work, you school, you are a girlfriend and a sister and a friend AND a princess how do you do it all?"  
Well friends while I may do all those things and be a princess at everything, I'm constantly stressed and on the verge of a breakdown.
SO to stop this vicious train in motion
I've come up with a few tips so you don't have a Jessie Spano/Corey from Empire Records style meltdown






*ATTENTION: BEFORE HAND, DON'T TAKE CAFFEINE PILLS OR SPEED, OR METH FOR THAT MATTER, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE, AND UNLESS YOU HAVE A ZACK MORRIS TO CLIMB IN YOUR WINDOW (did Jessie and Zack ever hook up?) OR AN ENTIRE CREW OF RAGAMUFFIN FRIENDS AND A CARDBOARD CUT-OUT OF REX MANNING TO DESTROY, ITS A BAD IDEA*


Onto the tips:


1. Queen
This song, 
again, and again. 
This song while you are getting ready in the morning, this song while walking to your midterm, this song while you are drinking your second latte. THIS SONG.
It always makes me feel better and like I can accomplish anything. 
This scene in the movie is too cute too, (also this movie/book It's Kind of a Funny Story is really good if you are stressing and sad too)
I promise, if Freddie Mercury's spectacular pipes don't make you feel better, than I don't know what till!

2. Take everything a day at a time
make lists 
there are apps on your phone that can make lists too
Just plan out everything, take time off work accordingly. 

3. Organize your priorities
for me, when I'm stressed fashion is NOT a priority (surprisingly enough)
nor is blogging sadly
my priorities go as follows:
1. Family, Friends and Nedward
2. School
3.Work
4. Blogging
5. Shopping and fashion related nonsense

sadly they are more like:
1. Family, Friends and Nedward
2. Shopping and fashion related nonsense
3. Work
4.Blogging
5. School

Its a work in progress people.

4. Sleep
Sleep as much as you can as LONG as you can
take frequent naps
You need your sleep because guarantee if you work as hard as I do, you are as exhausted as I am.
and right now I feel like I could sleep for days.

5. ME TIME
Just remember, you are also a priority
Don't bite off more than you can chew
don't light the candle at both ends
make sure you have time to curl up in your favorite yoga pants with your hair in a topknot while watching The United States of Tara while eating ramen.



So believe me guys, I know what its like to be so excited, so excited and so scared

but believe me, if you keep these 5 simple rules in mind
You'll survive ANYTHING.
you, can do anything, take a look its in a book, its reading rainbow, READING RAINBOW.

okay and on that note, I need my own sleep.

  2. I do the same things every time I'm stressed... And the video is lovely: I love the Queen and that was one of my favorite parts of the movie... one of the movie I watch every time I'm blue! As always, you read my mind girl!!
