"I Don't Ever Remember Feelings This Awake"

Oh hey yall its MAY!!!!!

You all know how incredibly I'm excited for this month to be over, to turn a new leaf and to GRADUATE!!!

so to celebrate I thought I'd do another outfit inspired by an awesome movie!
(Do the Right Thing Inspired post here)

and in my lovely film-to-page class we are watching Thelma and Louise so I thought
why the heck not!

This 1991 campy murder western is one of my favorites.
no only are Thelma and Louise so totally adorable

THEY KICK MAJOR ASS!!! They are total feminist bad-asses that treat nasty southern boys a lesson; ESPECIALLY when they try to take advantage of women.

I love this movie not only because of the excessive use of denim, feminist message that girls can do anything, the amazing cinematography where every scene looks like a beautiful picture

but also because of this
(and you see his buns)

This movie made me ask my best friend if he'd like to make a suicide pact (he said no) and it made me search my closet for all the pastels, lace and denim I could find

I'm wearing:
-Grey Lace top from H&M
-Pink bralet from Forever21
-Denim shorts from Urban Outfitters
-belt from Juicy Couture
-Light wash denim shirt from Gap
-Boots from a thrift store in SF
-Old purse from GoodWill

And I think I forgot to mention how awesome their car is.
I guess I cant go through with my proposed suicide pact if my best friend isnt willing AND if I'm driving a station wagon.
Imagine that...killing myself in Old Bertha the station wagon...
now that just isnt special at all....

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

"I Don't Ever Remember Feelings This Awake"- Thelma

"I'm in deep shit; Deep Shit, Arkansas."

"Well I may be an outlaw, darlin', but you're the one stealing my heart."

"You said you 'n' me was gonna get out of town and for once just really let our hair down. Well darlin', look out 'cause my hair is comin' down!"

"You've always been crazy, this is just the first chance you've had to express yourself."

I hope you all get a chance to see such a wonderful film
and if you'd like to see more outfits inspired by films just let me know!!
